Kristin & Duncan’s For the Love of Yoga ❤️ Belize 2020
7 nights, 8 days • january 18 - january 25, 2020
Hosted by Kristin and Duncan
Please join our Tribe for an extraordinary Yoga Retreat in Belize this January. Together we will explore what is possible in our own transformation through the practice of yoga and connection to our sacred tribe community (Sangha) while enjoying the breathtaking, magical, tropical surroundings. The yoga classes are designed for all levels of practice, so simply come as you are and do what you can and most importantly, have fun! Our piece of paradise offers world class snorkeling, scuba diving, fly-fishing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, hobie cats, biking, spa services, a natural saltwater pool, island-style farm fresh meals, community dining under the stars, simple & beautiful air-conditioned private bungalows over the sea or on the beach, and several incredible yoga palapa platforms over the gorgeous blue-green Caribbean waters for our daily Vinyasa Yoga Program.
Meet your hosts:
Kristin & Duncan
Kristin is a Kripalu Certified Yoga Instructor, RYT-200, with 13 years
of yoga teaching experience. She is the owner of BODHIFIT, a warm, welcoming, community friendly Heated Vinyasa Yoga Studio in downtown Brattleboro, Vermont, now in her 9th year of business. She also relishes in being a mother to 2 young adults and their black lab mascot “Roo.” She serves her community by offering her studio as a place of refuge for personal transformation through the practice of yoga, blending mindfulness and meditation in her creative, dynamic asana flows. Students learn to strengthen, revitalize, balance and restore both body & mind. Kristin teaches a fun, safe, dynamic, inspiring, challenging yet accessible to all levels class. She gently guides her students to transcend negativity in order to empower themselves to access more of their inner strength, wisdom and joy. Kristin sees yoga as a means to accessing self-connection and an opportunity for greater individual expansion and expression. She desires that her students feel good in their bodies by accepting where they are without the need to prove anything and to feel focused, alert and present in their minds in order to feel more balanced, confident and happy in their lives. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve, love and inspire her community by living her truth through the practice of yoga. Check out her instagram for inspiration and tips!
Duncan received his teaching certification through Amazing Yoga in Pittsburgh, PA. His style combines an athletic flow, often with a custom music accompaniment and a dose of levity. Yes, you’ll sweat, yes, you’ll have fun. By the end of class you’ll know you did something. The most important thing is to come to the mat without expectation and allow the magic to unfold breath by breath. He considers his flows to be accessible to all levels. It’s your practice and he’d like to help lead you into being curious about your practice and explore your edges. Consciousness of breath and encouraging the inner narrator to be supportive by focusing on what you can do versus what you can’t do are hallmarks of his teaching. Breathe in “just this”, breathe out “just now.”
